Our Journey

Frustration

Linen pants. It started with a simple goal: to find high-quality linen pants without the steep price tag of designer brands. But even that felt impossible. Nothing seemed to strike the right balance of style, fit, and price.

Frustrated by the hours spent clicking through dozens of websites and hundreds of irrelevant results — and still not finding the right thing — one of us thought: why is this so hard?

He remembered how his longtime friend (now co-founder) had once said he gave up on online shopping altogether — because finding clothes he actually liked was exhausting. The styles were wrong. The fit was off. The colors? Never quite right.

And that's when we realized: shopping shouldn't be this frustrating.

Mission

Our mission is to transform how people shop for clothes—making searching easier, faster and more personal.

Finding the right outfit shouldn't feel stressful or like a chore. It should be relaxing and fun. That's why we're focused on reducing the time you spend searching, so you can focus on what really matters: choosing what you like, want to wear and what you want to buy.

As shoppers, we've become used to working around the technology's limits —settling for what it can do instead of what we need it to do. But what if you could search for clothes starting from the thought that sparked the need? A change in weather, an upcoming trip, a sale, a spontaneous creative feeling, or an upcoming event. What if you didn't have to reshape your thoughts to fit the system, and could just start on a whim?

In practice, that means giving you the freedom to browse, discover, and find clothes however you like—whether you have something specific in mind, a vague idea, or just a feeling.

Future

Our vision for the future is to make Muse the only stop anyone needs to make for anything related to fashion or clothes in general. To get there, we're improving every stage of the shopping journey—from discovery to checkout, and everything in between.

We're excited to build a future where shopping feels fun again—where you're not constantly toggling between tabs, trying to remember which pants had the best fit or which dresses you liked more than the rest. We want to make it easy to compare your top picks in one place, highlighting what matters most to you without the stress. Whether it's style, fit, price, or anything else, we're obsessing over ways to make shopping easier, more intuitive, and all in one place.

"We are so glad to have you on this journey with us."

With gratitude — Jason & Andy

Ethos

Time is valuable

Time can't be bought back — once it's spent, it's gone for good. That's why we believe it shouldn't be wasted endlessly searching for clothes and coming up short. Shopping should feel exciting, not frustrating or exhausting. Your time deserves better — for moments that matter, for the people you love, or at the very least, discovering styles that you truly love.

Between scrolling, shopping, and browsing, we're spending serious time on fashion. One study found that women spend over 8 full days a year shopping, while another revealed we lose nearly 20 days just scrolling for styles on social media or websites. That's almost a month spent just looking — not even buying!

Being deliberate

We believe that every item we bring into our lives deserves respect and care. Regardless of its price, clothing should be chosen with intention and worn in a way that preserves its longevity. When we care for what we own, we reduce waste and support a more mindful, responsible way of consuming.

Every year, the fashion industry alone emits over 1.6 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases and consumes around 21 trillion gallons of water — enough to give every person on Earth drinking water for nearly three years.

Personal Expression

Each person carries a unique perception of art. Some express it through music, painting, or performance. But for many of us, the clothes we choose—the outfits we create—become a reflection of how we see beauty and how we want to be seen. We believe that dressing in a way that feels true to you is one of the most powerful forms of self-expression.

Dressing in a way you love doesn't just boost your mood—it can sharpen focus, improve sociability, and enhance performance. Even the process of shopping for clothes you like can release endorphins, boosting happiness. Your style also serves as a powerful form of self-expression, reflecting your individuality, evolving identity, personal values and ideals.

Confidence and perception

We believe that dressing well is about more than just self-care — it's a powerful influence on our emotions and self-confidence. When we dress in a way that makes us feel beautiful or handsome, we often internalize that feeling throughout the day — shifting how we carry ourselves, interact with others, and how we're perceived.

Studies show that dressing in a way you like can boost self-esteem and enhance how capable you feel—a psychological effect known as enclothed cognition. In experiments, people dressed more formally or intentionally performed better on cognitive tasks and reported feeling more confident. Meanwhile, 76% of people say they form first impressions based on appearance, and those who dress well are often perceived as more competent, trustworthy, and confident.
